Do you want to be ready for your first interview? Here are five warning alerts that you have to take into account when you are preparing yourself.
The feelings of anxiety and stress are completely normal when you are preparing yourself for your first interview in a new company.
What you might be feeling more afraid of is how the interview is going to be done: will the interview take long? Am I going to be alone or in a room full of people? Are they going to explain what the job position is about? In order for you to stop worrying about your first interview, here are five warning alerts to take into consideration.

1- Showing up late
One of the most important features of a good employer is that they respect what they are asking you to do. If you are called to be on time, you expect them to do the same. So do not feel bad for being mad if they arrive one hour late to your interview. You should take this as a first warning alert and be alert to see if this is not the only one happening during the full interview.
Another feature that should alarm you during the interview is the employer’s behavior. Even if you feel like they are superior to you and that they are in a position to treat you with superiority, this is not true. You should always be treated with kindness and respect. If you perceive any kind of aggressive behavior towards you, it may be an indication that this disrespectful behavior will continue even if you are hired.
3- Working overtime every day
One of the most common drawbacks of jobs nowadays is that employers are looking for people who work long hours per day, more hours than those legally required. Remember that you have a law that allows you to work certain hours per week, so make use of your legal knowledge to support you.
And as if it were not enough, you are expected to work more than the legal hours for an amount of money that is inconceivable.
If you experience this during your first interview, this is your sign to get your things and leave.

4- You Hear Complaints from People Working There
You might want to look for information about the company before you have your first interview. Look for reviews on the internet, or ask people around if they know the company, they might have friends working there. You could also try to get the vibe of the company while you are there, pay attention to the employees that are walking beside you or ask questions.
Pay attention to both, positive and negative reviews. But if you sense that there are more negative than positive reviews, you should take that as a warning alert.
This is one of the most common issues during an interview (and any other situation in life). If your interview is rescheduled more than once, the supervisors are continuously being late, you feel that they are not prepared to interview you, or if they are not prone to have an interview with you or answer simple questions, these are cases of a complete disorganization.
When you are in a situation of disorganization during your first interview, you have to have in mind that this is probably a common issue in this job, so you should be alert.
If you take into account all of these advices, you should be able to recognize any warning alert that is made visible during any interview and you will be able to get your stuff and leave when you feel you are not being respected and welcomed in any company.
