UC Berkeley’s global management program is set up to prepare undergraduate business students to lead, innovate, and affect change on an international level. This program has students study both at the UC Berkeley campus and abroad at one of the several partner business schools that UC Berkeley has a relationship with.
Students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in global management. Just think of how you will stand out to future business employers with this concentration! This degree program is perfect for you if you are interested in international business and global affairs.
This program mixes rigorous business and general business education with a broad cultural understanding. These guiding characteristics help to prepare students to lead in financial services, communications, social sector solutions, foreign affairs, management consulting, and more. Studying in this program means that students will start with a summer filled with orientation and courses at the UC Berkeley. Students will also participate in the Berkeley Global Edge experience in London during the fall of their freshman year.
Summer Semester | Berkeley
Global management students begin their undergraduate career with eight weeks of summer courses with the rest of their incoming freshmen class. This gives students the chance to develop relationships with the resources available on campus as well as connect with their peers and prepare them for the time they will spend abroad.
First Fall Semester | London
All global management students spend an entire semester in London, one of the world’s financial, media, and cultural capitals. Students will engage with coursework in writing and research, art history, philosophy, politics, and will gain an understanding of what makes culture and business work hand in hand. A full semester in London gives students the chance to learn what it means to study and live in a different country. Students will be able to immerse themselves in a different culture and sharpen their international business skills, all while working to earn their bachelor’s degree in business.
Spring Semester through Completion | Berkeley
Students return from their semester in London and complete the rest of their degree at the California campus. The global experience in the Fall semester helps deepen the student experience until degree completion has been attained.
