The following rankings are brought to us by Business Insider.

According to Business Insider, those who study science or engineering in college in the U.S. tend to earn a fairly large annual income. Using individual-level data from the US Census Bureau’s 2018 American Community Survey compiled by the Minnesota Population Center’s Integrated Public Use Microdata Series program, Business Insider put together a quick list.

Of the 20 bachelor’s degree majors with the highest average annual total income, 17 are in science, engineering, or medical fields. Bachelor’s degree holders in these fields have been able to earn over $121,000.


#1. Health and medical preparatory majors

Average annual income: $165,400
